Mentorship
Guarantees young people there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter. Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations.
Early Intervention Services
The vehicle of comprehensive youth mentoring experiences; a positive environment contributing to an improved quality of life for youth and their families. Acknowledging the needs that exist in our low-income communities, our organization delivers a well-coordinated effort of community-based early intervention services, including youth mentoring, tutoring, extracurricular skill development, college and career counseling, and life skill development.
Life Skills Development
Specialized services are designed to meet the unique needs of students, such as mentoring for children of prisoners, mentoring for military children, or mentoring for immigrants for specific cultural backgrounds.
Penny Drives
Fund raising initiatives is one of the main sources of generating income to fund directives to the youth’s success. Wealth lies in the console of vehicles, dresser drawers and places where attention is not acknowledged on a daily basis. The penny is a currency with other coins can be used to become a supporting initiative to fund the success for the youth’s enrolled life plan.
Our program incorporates a pathbreaking financial support model through which we encourage continued student engagement through alleviation of household financial tensions. To this end, enrolled family receives a stipend in the amount of $350 per semester to offset household expenses.
